Why Do We Finally Get Energy When There’s Still Snow Everywhere?

There’s a strange moment that happens near the end of winter.

For weeks you feel tired.
Unmotivated.
Kind of blah.

The house is messy.
Laundry exists in mysterious piles.
Your brain feels like it’s been running in low-battery mode.

And then suddenly…

One day you wake up with energy again.

You want to clean the house.
Organize things.
Start projects.
Take on the world.

And then you look outside.

Snow.

More snow.

More winter.

And you just stand there thinking…

“Are you serious right now?”

Winter has a way of slowing us down whether we want it to or not. The darker days, the cold air, the constant sickness going around. It all takes a toll on our bodies and our minds.

But here’s something important I’ve learned.

Your energy didn’t disappear.

It was just resting.

Your body and your brain were doing exactly what they needed to do to get through a heavy season.

And now that spark is starting to come back.

That urge to move.
Create.
Clean.
Start fresh.

That’s a really good sign.

It means your system is waking up again.

So if you suddenly feel like doing all the things after weeks of doing nothing…

Go with it.

Clean one corner of the house.
Take a walk outside.
Write something down that’s been sitting in your mind.

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life in one day.

Just follow the spark.

And if the snow sticks around a little longer…

Maybe it’s just giving you one more chance to slow down before spring shows up.
